Travel through the Ngorongoro highlands towards Serengeti National Park, allowing time for park formalities, lunch and scenic stops. Enjoy a game drive as you make your way to camp. This is a substantial transfer day; the final route and timings depend on your starting point, road conditions and camp location.
Start early with your guide to explore the habitats around your camp. Choose a full-day outing with a packed lunch or split morning and afternoon drives, depending on the agreed programme. Take time to observe wildlife behaviour and photograph the landscape. Return to the same camp for dinner and a second night.
Depart early for a guided game drive within Ngorongoro Crater, subject to the permit and access arrangements confirmed for your booking. Bring layers for the highlands and enjoy a picnic at an authorised location. After your allocated exploration time, ascend to the rim and continue to accommodation in the Karatu or highlands area.
Enjoy breakfast and travel back to Arusha with time for a lunch stop where included. Your driver will take you to the agreed hotel or departure point. Book onward flights only after the operator confirms a suitable connection window. An extra night in Arusha can be arranged if you prefer a more relaxed departure.
